Ábel Nagy was the caretaker of the Reformed parish. His older son Károly died a hero's death in World War II. His memory is also preserved by a marble tablet placed in the Reformed church. His other son Árpád performed significant tasks in the village and in the Reformed church. He held a caretaker role in the local Reformed church, and also worked as a diocesan clerk. ; After the change of regime, he was the first freely elected mayor of the village. At this time, the birch grove next to the cemetery road and the pine trees surrounding the cemetery were planted. He was a punctual, precise man, a skilled electrician.
