The inauguration ceremony took place on April 2, 2000. The ceremony was opened by the poet Csaba Kantár, together with the actor Tamás Bernáth and the poet-narrator. The ceremonial speech was given by the historian Dr. Gyula Popély. ; Guests of the ceremony: Imre Nagy on behalf of the District Office, László Hóka, member of parliament, Mihály Bara, mayor of Tardoskedd, Erzsébet Dániel and Péter Plichta, members of the Csemadok Érsekújvár Regional Committee, Bertalan Révész, historian, retired college professor, Duna TV, and János Bób, mayor. ; Festive program: Presentation of the Izsai riders on the main square, István the King - historical stage play performed by the Almácska children's folklore group led by Éva Kantár, exhibition in the village gallery: The dolls in the folk costumes of the highlands. ; The bell was inaugurated on August 27, 2000, in the presence of the mayor of Tab's twin town, István Farkas, who presented the bell to the village. The consecration was performed by Bishop Zoltán Ďurčó, after welcoming remarks by the mayors of Tab and Szímő. The program continued with a street parade in the renovated Csemadok Courtyard, where the program of the Vág River Meeting began.
