Millencentenary Monument
Statue, monument, memorial plaque
On June 23, 1996, at 10 a.m., a service began in the Reformed Church, at the end of which Gyula Rázsó, retired director of the Budapest Museum of Military History, gave a lecture on why our ancestors succeeded in conquering the country 1,100 years ago. After the service, the monument by Aladár Igó and Attila Igó for the millennium was inaugurated in the church garden. ; The monument was probably placed in the garden of the Reformed Church because the millennium monuments erected at that time were reported one after another by Slovak nationalists (Krasznahorkaváralja, Bős, ...).
