Mikes family cemetery

In the three graves of the family cemetery, the village clerk József Mikes (1872-1930) and his wife Julianna Bajcsy (1883-1969), their children: Dr. Béla Mikes (1903-1978), former chief clerk of Gúta, and Edit Rácz Dánielné Mikes (1917-1978) are buried. ; ; Dr. Béla Mikes was born in Nemesócsa. He completed his secondary schooling in Bratislava, then continued his studies at the German Technical University in Prague and the Faculty of Law of the University of Bratislava. He began his career in public administration in Bratislava, then served at the Ógyalla district office. He was suspended from his job by the Czech authorities on suspicion of anti-state activities, and then became the chief clerk of Guta village.
