Michael's Cross
Sacral small monument
In the middle of the village, at one of the shopping centers where the Mihálys used to live, stands the Mihály Cross. It is a straight-stemmed grayish artificial stone cross, which can be seen on the top of a column placed on a two-stepped base. The dedication on the white marble top of the column reads: “For the glory of God / erected / JÁNOS MIHÁLY / and his wife / ERZSÉBET FERENCSIK / 1972”. The cast-iron corpus of the cross is white, the loincloth is blue. The body parts are in a similar position to the previous corpus. (Christ’s head with the crown of thorns is turned to the right, the hands are held vertically, the feet are next to each other.)
