Son of Ferenc Máriássy, a landowner, and Mária Kocsis. Born in 1831, a practicing lawyer. Unmarried. Joined the 16th (Érsekújvár) Home Guard Battalion in October 1848. Sergeant, lieutenant in February 1849, in his unit and aide-de-camp to Major Simonffy's Oradea brigade commander. On May 31, he was returned to his battalion. On July 1, he was first lieutenant in the 9th Miklós Hussar Regiment and commanding officer under General János Lenkey. From 1867, he was a landowner in Óhaj, elected district chief guardian, and in 1878 county chief notary in Bars county. From 1885, he was vice-governor of Bars county, and from 1892, mayor of Léva. Member of the county home guard association. He died in Léva on October 27, 1901. ; His gravesite was purchased by the Slovak couple Gorilák, and their memorial plaque was attached to the lower part of the original tombstone, covering the lower part of the original epitaph.
