Márai Studio Theatre
Building, structure
In 1993, the Thália Theatre acquired a property that was also not originally built for theatrical purposes. The Márai Studio Theatre opened here in 1994. The renovation and reconstruction of the building, which began in 1994, lasted until 2002. Currently, the studio hall with a capacity of nearly 100 seats operates here, where the audience has mainly seen fairy tale and chamber performances. The building on Timon Street houses the theatre's management, offices, 4 guest rooms for guest directors and guest actors, and a café, which is the venue for various - mainly Hungarian - events. ; The façade of the Márai Sándor Studio of the Thália Theatre is decorated with reliefs depicting details of the citizens of Košice, which are the work of Imre Schrammel.
