Historian, teacher, textbook writer, bibliographer. Born in Bratislava in 1850. ; He completed high school in Nagyszombat and Bratislava, and continued his university studies in Vienna from 1869?-1874. From 1775 he was a full-time teacher of history and geography at the Arad general secondary school, and from 1880 he became a substitute teacher at the University of Budapest. From 1881 he taught history, geography and German at one of the capital's general secondary schools. He was also a private tutor of ancient history and the history of the Eastern peoples at the university. He became a corresponding member of the Berlin Historical Society. He mainly dealt with universal history, but he also carried out significant bibliographical activity. He wrote numerous textbooks and handbooks. He participated in the work of the Pallas Nagy Lexikon (he was the editor of the universal historical entries) and the Révai Nagy Lexikon. ; His tomb, which is in rather poor condition, can be found in sector I.1/2.
