Bust of Imre Madách

The bust of the institution's namesake was inaugurated at the Imre Madách Hungarian Language High School in Somorja on September 22, 2015. ; The legal predecessor of the high school was the Hungarian Language High School, which had been operating since the 1954/55 school year and ended with a school-leaving examination. The institution, which later underwent many changes, was granted high school status in 1970 and moved to its current building on Napos Street in 1983. It took the name of Imre Madách in 2005, on the fiftieth anniversary of its existence.
