Today is the feast day of Saint Gregory the Illuminator.

March 12th is St. Gregory's Day, when the children, but here only the fifth, sixth, and older children, went with a basket. And what was also memorable about the whole thing was that even then, the times were so good that you could go barefoot on the beaten path. Because back then, there was no national road, only a field road to the village, so we definitely took our feet barefoot on the footpath and went like that. Then when we got there, right, to the designated house where we had to go, and then we went in. Well, then we said five or six or ten. As many as there are, run towards that many! ; ; That was it, right, spiced up. Well, then, right, as many eggs as they gave... but at that point they only gave eggs. They didn't give anything else. That was, right, the teacher's. Then, when we went to school, they made us a common lunch, right, for the children, I know how many eggs they fried, and that was the payment.
