Lourdes grotto next to the Szabó mill
Sacral small monument
In 1938, the miller Gyula Szabó built a square-shaped roadside chapel next to his house (number 86) out of stone blocks, modeled after the Lourdes chapel, in memory of the re-annexation of the southern territories of Slovakia to Hungary. The facade of the building is finished with a red marble capital plate with the inscription: "I am the Immaculate Conception", and above it is a conical puppet parapet. The chapel contains statues of the Virgin Mary of Lourdes and Bernadette kneeling. Gyula Szabó was deported to Hungary in 1948.
