Lourdes Grotto
Sacral small monument
The grotto in the churchyard depicts the apparition of Lourdes, where the Virgin Mary appears to Bernadette. It is semicircular, with a garland of flowers running along its edge as decoration. On the pedestal is a marble tablet, a prayer for unborn children. ; Interestingly, the image column depicting the apparition of Lourdes also stood on the site of the building visible today, next to the national flagpole. This has since been demolished, but in 1938 the Hungarian soldiers entering the country were still welcomed here.
