The grave of the Reformed deacon Sámuel Liszkay

From March 1810 he was the pastor of the Reformed parish of Abara, and from the same year he became the deacon of the Ungi-Felső Zemplén diocese. In 1824 he published a hymnbook for the Slovak Reformed, the Slovak Catechism (Sárospatak, 1813), supplemented with prayers and funeral songs. ; His grave was renovated by the local organization of the Csemads and the Reformed Church.

The late T. T. Liszkai Sámuel / To the Lord, as a tireless / laborer of 20 years / As a sign of gratitude / He was elevated by the Ecclesiastical Dignity of Ungh and / Upper Zemplén. He died on 1831 / February 6th in the 67th year of his life. / RENEWED BY THE LOCAL ORGANIZATION OF CSEMADO / AND THE REFORMED CHURCH 2002(?) ABARA
