Enea Lanfranconi (Pellio Intelvi, Lombardy, 30 May 1850 – Bratislava, 9 March 1895) and Luigi Lanfranconi moved from Italy to Bratislava in 1870. ; Of the brothers, Enea became known as an engineer, construction contractor, archaeologist and art collector. He was a founding member of the Hungarian Historical Society. One of the Danube bridges in Bratislava today bears his name. He committed suicide in 1895 due to mental illness and was buried in Varese, Italy. His brother, whose name also appears several times as Lajos Lanfranconi, died in 1920. ; In the grave (located in sector IV/5 of the cemetery) lie Luigi Lanfranconi's father (?) and daughter.
