Géza Kúr was born on March 6, 1860 in Kismányá (Nyitra vm.), his father Imre Kúr was a teacher, his mother Terézia Csontó. He completed the first six grades of secondary school in Bratislava, at the Evangelical Lyceum, the 7th and 8th grades in Pápa, where he also graduated, and even completed his theology there in 1882. He was a chaplain in Szap, Mado, Nagymegyer, and then from 1886 an assistant pastor in Révkomárom under Bishop Gábor Pap. He was ordained at the parish assembly held in Révkomárom in 1886. He served as an elected pastor in Kulcsodon between 1890 and 1927. He died in 1927. ; His wife is Vilma Nagy, the daughter of Nagykesz landowner Zsigmond Nagy, who after her husband's death moved first to Komárom and then to Csicsó in 1936 to her son. ; She rests in the grave with her father-in-law, Nagykesz landowner Zsigmond Nagy.
