Kuffner family mausoleum
Cemeteries, tombstones, graves
The main facade of the castle in the center of Diószeg faces the main street of the settlement. Behind it is a walled garden. The park, which enjoys a high degree of protection, was founded in the second half of the 1800s and acquired its current form at the beginning of the twentieth century. In addition to the chestnuts, the park is enriched by several valuable trees, nearly 150-year-old plane trees and ginkgo trees. Here is the elegant, classicist-style mausoleum of the Kuffner family, who made Diószeg flourish, which was built in 1926 based on the plans of architect Milán Harminc.
