The lily of virginity blossomed, ; And bore the beautiful flower of heaven. ; The gracious little Jesus, for us, brought, ; Being born the redemption. ; ; 3. Glory to God in the highest, ; Peace on earth to good people. ; Let us sing with angels, and with the faithful shepherds, ; Glory to God. ; ; 4. The throne of eternal wisdom has become the throne of the womb, ; From the womb the mercy of God speaks to us. ; The heavenly babe proclaims salvation, ; By the mercy of God.
