Four priestly tombstones can be seen on the side of the Catholic church in Tardoskeddi. The name of József Kriegler can be read on the highest icon, which is made of gray granite, in the shape of an obelisk. ; József Kriegler, Catholic priest, born 1825. Nov. 27. in Pest, where he finished the gymnasium, before going to Bratislava to the Emericanum, in 1841-42 he studied philosophy in Nagyszombat, from 1843-44 he studied theology at the University of Vienna. He was ordained on 12. Nov. 1848. He was an assistant pastor in Nagy-Maros, Buda, 1850. in Pest, in 1852 he became a religion teacher at the Buda main gymnasium, in 1854 he became the director of the Buda Catholic elementary schools, in 1867. Jan. 2. abbot named after Saint Andrew near Visegrád, 1870. June 1. parish priest, then district alespere in Tardoskedden, where he died on 16 July 1876. ; Wrote numerous articles and ceremonial speeches, mostly in German. His speech was in the annual report of the elementary schools in Buda (1856. Address of the Director ... to the Children and Parents held at the first communion of the Schübers.) ; He edited the Katholischer Christet from 1852. Feb. 5 to 1854. Mar. 20 in Pest.
