Tomb of János Krasznyanszky

The remains of János Krasznyanszky, who died prematurely, rest next to the large cross in the cemetery. His tombstone is incomplete and neglected, but the brushwood on his grave is apparently regularly mowed and a candle is sometimes placed on it.

Here lies / János Krasznyanszky / priest of the diocese of Nyitra and director of the Gyurcsek educational and training institute in Trenčín. / He died on July 5, 1912 / in the 41st / 18th year of his life as a priest. / Great words do not make one righteous / and holy, but an irreproachable life / makes one beloved by God and man. / R. I. P. (Requiescat in pace! - Rest in peace!)
