Central cemetery cross in the new upper cemetery
Sacral small monument
The New Cemetery, located in the northwestern part of the village, also has a central cross. According to the informant, Mrs. Bertalan Kosík, Ilona Nászali (1940), this was “arranged by Uncle Vince Kmetty from the donations of the faithful.” It is a grayish artificial stone cross with a straight stem standing on the top of a two-step pedestal that tapers upwards. The head of Christ on its silver-plated iron body is turned to the right, and the loincloth is white. The dedication of the cross’s column reads: “For the glory of God, for the salvation of our dead! 1973.”
