Thanks to the ingenuity of architect Imre Makovecz, the thatched open-air stage is considered a unique structure in all of Central Europe, and the locals are rightly proud of it. The uniquely shaped thatched roof also symbolizes the reed culture of the village and the surrounding area, which still captivates many people today.
