Kopjafa for the 60th anniversary of the resumption of mother tongue education

The ceremony, held in October 2010, was attended by the principals of the area's primary schools and the mayors of the surrounding settlements, and was also attended by former Minister of Education László Szigeti, Chairman of the Education Committee of the Hungarian Communist Party, and Consul General János Szerencsés in Košice. The audience included writer Sándor Gál and representatives of the churches. Principal Csilla Mohňanský emphasized that the holiday is not only about the current teachers, but also about those school leaders who fought their battles, overcame difficulties in recent decades, and who can no longer be with the celebrants. ; A headstone was erected on the occasion of the anniversary - the work of woodcarver István Nyári and master blacksmith László Rácz. The headstone was unveiled by Mayor László Szigeti and József Mohňanský.
