The headstone was inaugurated as part of the “Bell Calls Home” meeting organized on the occasion of the Memorial Day of the Deportees from the Uplands and the 65th anniversary of the deportations. ; The program of the memorial day: ; Festive mass in the church, attended by more than 150 Szímői deportees who had returned home from Hungary. ; The headstone was consecrated by parish priest László Elek, and unveiled by Éva Kantár, president of Csemadok. ; A festive speech was given at the headstone by Deputy Mayor Zoltán Priskin, and in the hall by Mayor János Bób. ; Wreaths were laid by: Pál Csáky, László Szigeti - MKP, Mayor János Bób, Mosonszolnok, Bezedek, Kecskéd, Tatabánya, Mosonmagyaróvár, Rimóc, Töttös, Kópháza, Komló, Fertőboz, Esztergom, Solymár, Máriakálnok, Mohács, Harka, and guests arriving from other settlements. ; Éva Kantár, the president of the Csemadok foundation organization, presented commemorative cards to those arriving home. ; Festive program at Jedlik House: Imre Vadkerti, Mosonszolnok MIHE, Bezedek singers, Csaba Kantár Literary Circle and the Rozmaring singing-zither performance; exhibition of the works of Szímő artists
