A spear tree in memory of the deported people of Ciliziňárad

Statue, monument, memorial plaque

During the census held in Csiliznyárad in 1946, 744 people declared themselves to be of Hungarian nationality. Based on this, a list of those deported to forced labor in the Czech Republic was completed by the end of 1946. 79 members of 14 families from the village were taken to forced labor on January 22, 1947. The village government commemorated the event on July 11, 2007. As part of the village day, the headstone of the Csicsó carver Géza Nagy was inaugurated in front of the village hall, on which the names of the Csiliznyárad residents who were deported from the settlement to forced labor were inscribed.
