In the Carpathian Basin, thirty-three place names contain the name of the conquering, Old Hungarian Keszi tribe in their prefix or suffix. The meeting of the Keszi settlements was launched in the early 1990s, and its 10th meeting took place in Ipolykeszi between July 4-6, 2003. The commemorative plaque was unveiled at an event in conjunction with the Village Day.
