The bilingual, black marble tablet on the wall of the Ipolykér village office commemorates János Kéry (1637-1685), bishop of Vác. The tablet also shows the family coat of arms. ; The former monk, born in Kéry, was a doctor of theology and a Pauline abbot. He also participated in the battles against the Turks in 1684. He gave a eulogy over the body of Miklós Zrínyi.
