Gyula Kaynár, lawyer, was born in Levoca on April 10, 1848, and died in Levoca on August 3, 1920. He was a member of the Levoca branch of the Hungarian Carpathian Association (1897-1913) and its president (-1903-1918-). He probably served as mayor of the city before the change of empire.
