Catholic Church in Lice
Building, structure
The small Hungarian village of Túróc-völgyi, of Árpád-era origin, first appears in written sources in the 13th century. Its church, which still stands today, was built in 1804 in the center of the settlement. It is a west-east oriented, single-nave, gable-roofed, tiled-roofed building. The Baroque bell tower with a metal-plated helmet rises from its western facade. Its main entrance opens under the tower, on the western side. Its walls are crossed by pilasters. Its longitudinal interior, ending in a segmentally closed sanctuary, is covered with a Prussian vault.
