Košice Cross

Sacral small monument

The Kassai cross stands in the western part of the village, on the right side of the main road leading to Nagycsalomyja. The Cseri family once had it erected on the edge of their land, but later, as the area became the Kassai family's through marriage, the cross was named after them. The ornate wrought-iron cross with the inscription INRI stands on a sandstone pedestal. The body of the crucifix with its rounded stem end is silver-plated iron, and a silver-plated laurel wreath can be seen underneath.
