Calvary crosses
Sacral small monument
Opposite the church, in front of the parish, stand three wooden crosses with straight ends, the Calvary crosses, on natural stone foundations. (The construction of the Calvary station on both sides of the road leading to the church was recently carried out at the initiative of Father Dobos.) The father of the old priest Urban made and renovated the Cross of Christ. This cross first stood in the Házas cemetery as the central cross. Then, after the renovation, it was placed in the parish garden, and then brought to its current location. In 1986, the following was recorded about it in the Historia Domus: “The cross brought from the Házas cemetery was renovated and erected in the parish park.” The Cross of Christ is inscribed INRI, has a semicircular, scalloped-edged zinc cover, and a small sheet metal cross on top. The body is made of white-painted cast iron, the loincloth is blue, the face is turned to the right, towards the sky, the hands are vertical, and the feet are nailed to the cross next to each other.
