Jánošík's power, deeds and capture

Say

Note: ; I recorded the story of Jánošík's life in the autumn of 1960 in the Sajó Valley (Borsod County), in the village of Hét. The story was told by Márton Gecse, a 60-year-old Hungarian farmer and former farm servant. In his younger days, he served on larger farms in several villages in Gömör County. He was also a shepherd for a longer period. He said that the story of the Slovak outlaw was known everywhere by shepherds and servants. In fact, he first heard it from his master in Jánosi (Gömör County) as a young hired hand, as he told it to his family one winter evening.
