Immaculata from 1689

Sacral small monument

The statue of the Immaculate Conception in Egyházgell was erected in 1689 by the Mórocz family of Beketfai, as evidenced by the coats of arms on its pedestal, as a unique piece of late Renaissance sculpture. This statue is one of six similar ones that survived in the territory of present-day Slovakia at that time.
