Jeszenszky Pál (Nagy-Jeszeni), Augustinian pastor and high school teacher, born in 1831 in Losonczon, was previously an assistant pastor in Gömör-Panyiton, on 23 December 1866 the church congregation elected him assistant pastor in Igló and on 17 January 1867 he took over his office and from 1869 he was also a teacher at the Igló Evangelical High School, where he taught Greek and Latin and religion. Later he was the principal's clerk in Bratislava. He died in 1921. ; His program essay was published in the Bulletin of the Igló Evangelical High School (1867.
