Tibor Huszár (Réte, June 16, 1952 – Modor, September 11, 2013) was a Hungarian photographer from Slovakia. ; He began to work with photography in 1964. From 1971 to 1974 he worked as a photojournalist for the Bratislava magazine Dolgozó Nő. Between 1976 and 1983 he studied at the Film and Television Department of the Academy of Music in Prague, where he was a student of Professor Ján Šmok. From 1988 to 1990 he photographed performances at György Tábori's Theater der Kreis. In 1992 he became a guest lecturer at the Department of Photography at New York University, and taught documentary photography as a guest lecturer at the West Side High School in New York. After returning to Slovakia, he became a teacher at the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica, and later headed the photography workshop at the Faculty of Mass Communication of the Cyril and Methodius University in Nagyszombat. In his last years, he lived and worked in Bratislava. His works are mainly documentary, socio- and portrait photographs. ; In 2015, he was posthumously awarded the Samuel Zoch Award - the Bratislava County Award.
