Heroes' Monument

Statue, monument, memorial plaque

The Heroes' Monument was built in 1948 in honor of the fallen soldiers of World War I and World War II, commissioned by the village and erected in the church park. The plaque listing the names of those who fell in World War I contains 103 names, while the plaque for World War II contains 94. In 1992, the monument was supplemented with a plaque commemorating the heroes of the Hungarian War of Independence of 1848-49.
