Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows
Building, structure
On the left side of the road leading to Szécsénykovácsi, directly along the road, you can see a baroque-style chapel. It has been beautifully renovated. According to the memorial plaque on its facade, it was built in 1924 by István Terényi, but it may have been built earlier, in the 18th century. The chapel, which was once on Terényi's land, is now privately owned. After an accident in which he was blinded in one eye, the former blacksmith had the chapel renovated out of gratitude. He is also credited with casting the bell in it. ; The crucifix next to the chapel was erected in 1935 by the Terényi couple.
