Bell tower in Vők
Building, structure
The belfry is a tall, imposing building built in 1923, on a square base, with a low hipped roof. Its corners are formed by wall strips made of burnt brick, and the three levels are separated by two cornices. On each side of the upper part of the bell tower there are semicircular sound openings, framed. In the lower part there is a niche with a Pieta sculpture, above it a relief of the Transfiguration of the Lord, with the figures of Moses and Elijah on the sides. The marble relief comes from the monument to Maria Theresa Fadrusz in Bratislava. There is only one bell in the tower. It was electrified in 2006.
