Bell tower in Dúlháza (Balogvölgy)

The village along the Balog river is named after Dúl of the Goroni family, who was mentioned in 1378. It was owned by the Kisfaludy family. It was a co-church of Zsíp. It does not have a church. The bell tower is square, with slate cladding attached to an iron structure, with a square pyramid topped with a ring knob. There are 2 bells inside. ; One is a bronze, wooden-crowned bell with ears. It has six simple ears. It is in a difficult-to-access place, only a few words and fragments of sentences can be read. ‚‚ANNO D. 1740/FERENC VRAIN. V. /DULHÁZI REMEK” Dimensions: diam.: 37 cm, height: approx. 27.5 cm; The other is a rusty steel (?) bell, with 4 simple lugs. Wooden crown. The shape of the bell is simpler, the lower rim is not as curved as other bells of a similar age. It has a worn Latin inscription on it: ‚‚Ao 1809...” It is rung in the event of death.
