Pyber family. (Gyerkényi.) A family from Komárom county, which also extended to Fejér, Pozsony, and Nógrád counties. According to tradition, it originated from the German Empire, the so-called “imperium”, and was already in Hungary in the 15th century. ; Gyerkényi Pyber II. Benedek, who died as a judge in Virthen, Komárom county, on October 18, 1823, at the age of 65. Benedek († 1823). His son Ignácz († 1883) had the right of a landlord in Radvány in the first half of the 19th century, and among his sons, Pál Virt was a mere landowner. ; When Szabó Dávid Baróti retired, he moved to Virt to live with his former student, Benedekez Pyber of Gyerkényi, and his old friend and patron, Ferenc Pyber, the son of the chief notary of Komárom County, where he spent the last two decades of his life. ; ; The grave of Irénke Pyber of Gyerkényi (1887-1891) is located in front of the tomb chamber. ; ;
