In the family ski shop, János Grachek was a cs. kir. and civil baker, who participated in the Italian and 1866 battles of Königreich in 1859, his wife Katalin Engelhart, his son Ferencz Grachek, the innkeeper, as well as Rezső Grachek, Imre Grachek and his wife Mária Pacsikovszky are resting. ; ; The Komáromi Lapok, on March 20, 1915, bid him farewell: ; ; The last coachman of Komárom has fallen asleep for the better ; A typical figure of Komárom's nightlife known for nearly half a century has disappeared from our ranks. Old János Grachek is no more. We will no longer see him with his ever-smiling face as he offers the bag in a friendly manner: Here you go, bitte, pár oder unpár. ; We are pleased to announce that the last true coachman from Komárom has died and gone to a better life. Although he was rocked in Carniola and spoke our beautiful language, he was a Hungarian, a man from Komárom, and a man of great enthusiasm. He lived seventy-seven years in honesty and honor, and with his tireless diligence and exemplary thriftiness, he also acquired a small fortune. ; He was never afraid of death. He had his family tomb built in advance, and even had his name engraved on the tombstone, leaving only the time of death blank. Now the ruthless reaper has filled this in as well. The reaper with whom he had been closely acquainted since the bloody battles of Solferino and Santa Lucia. Because old János Grachek served in the 10th Fighter Battalion as a guard leader and in 1859 he also fought bravely against the enemies of the empire. In the Battle of Santalucia, a total of 80 men from the battalion survived. The old man was always proud of this and often spoke to his old acquaintances about this bloody battle. ; Not only the brave citizen, but also the brave soldier is mourned by a large number of his family members and good acquaintances.
