If you stand at the foot of these graves / And your soul soars over the ruins of the past, / Remember an 800-year-old past, / Which stormed over this family./ Remember in this quiet cemetery / The heroes who fought for freedom, / Remember this beautiful homeland, this land / The proud ancestors who worshipped and feared! / The plow and the scythe were not alien to them, / But if necessary, they became weapons! / They sacrificed wealth and life with a light heart, / They never flatteredly asked for mercy.”
