László Galambos served as an assistant pastor in Dióspatony between July 1890 and March 1892. Then, from September 24, 1893 to May 31, 1941, he was the longest-serving pastor of the Rétei Reformed Church. ; His son Zoltán Galambos (Réte, June 22, 1894 - Komárom, January 29, 1973) was a Reformed pastor, newspaper editor, and theological translator. ; He completed four elementary schools in his native village, then went to Bratislava as an exchange student to learn German. He then attended the Evangelical Lyceum, then the Papal Gymnasium, where he graduated in 1915. Influenced by the conference of the Hungarian Evangelical Students' Association held in Felsőszeli, he chose the priesthood instead of the commercial career he had planned until then. He entered the Protestant theological faculty in Vienna and in the summer of 1917 received a Bernhardinum Dutch scholarship, during which he spent the summer semesters at universities in Germany. From 1922 he became a religious teacher in girls' schools in Budapest. ; In 1923 he had to decide on his citizenship, at which time he was transferred to Losonc as an associate professor of Reformed theology. In 1924 he was a chaplain in Komáromszentpéter for two months, in Vágfarkasd for one month and from December 4th he was the second assistant pastor in Komárom. From September 13th, 1925 to 1971 he was a pastor in Komárom. Between 1925 and 1929 he taught at the Reformed Theological Academy in Losonc. In 1949, the National Reformed Pastoral Association was established under his leadership. ; He wrote for the Hoongaarische Heraut, and was the editor-in-chief of the Kálvinista Szemle and Kalvínske hlasy until 1953. He edited the local church newspaper, the Kis tükör.
