József Galambos, landowner, was born in Nemesócsa in 1857. After finishing school, he farmed on his parents' estate, then in 1895 he became an independent farmer, farming 80 acres of land. He was a member of the United Hungarian People's Party. His wife is Bódis Julianna, his adopted child is Dócza Julianna. ; His parents are Dániel Galambos, landowner, and Galambos Dánielné née Janka Vörös.
