One of the well-known buildings in Fülek is the town hall. Its construction was started in April 1911 by the architect Pál Schmidt from Losonc based on the plans of Pál Jakab, also from Losonc. The building was inaugurated on June 29, 1912. Originally, it also housed the fire department. The building's characteristic feature is the fire watchtower, from which the city could be seen.
