Árpád Frideczky, born in Galántá in 1871. After completing his economic studies, he farmed on his estate in Galántá, then became the manorial secretary of Count Mihály Esterházy, then the manorial accountant. He was a member of the “Omge”, the “National Farmer’s Association”, the “Bozsony Fine Arts Association”, the “Bozsony County Economic Association”, an active member of the “Bozsony Medical and Natural Science Association”, the head of the “Bozsony Toldy Circle”, the state permanent economic correspondent of the city of Bratislava, the economic correspondent of the “Nyugatmagyarországi Hiradó” and a colleague of the “Gazdasági Lapok” and “Köztelek”. He wrote the agricultural and animal husbandry section for the Bratislava County monograph. He was the secretary of the “Bozsony County Economic Casino” for several years. He wrote several smaller economic works and published a booklet entitled "Soil Knowledge and Soil Cultivation". ; Árpád Frideczky passed away on February 11, 1934. His grave is located at the foot of the Esterházy family tomb.
