The grave of headmaster László Forró

Cemeteries, tombstones, graves

A student of the Komárno Lyceum and Teacher Training Institute, he served in Germany during World War II, and was taken prisoner of war by the British after the war. He managed to get home from captivity in 1946, but unfortunately could not continue his studies. ; As a refugee from Czechoslovakia, he fled to Hungary, where he continued his studies at the Pápa State Teacher Training Institute. In 1948, he returned to his homeland, where he tirelessly set about organizing a parallel class in Hungarian alongside the previously Slovak-language schools. This decision was successful, and under his leadership, a Hungarian class was opened alongside the Slovak school in Lakszakállas on January 3, 1949, with 60 students. A Hungarian-language class was also established alongside the Slovak school in Nemesócsa from September 1, 1949, under the leadership of János Szabadi, an experienced and skilled teacher and later director. ; From Lakszakállas he moved to Nagymegyer and then to Nemesócsa. From September 1, 1953, he became the principal of the Hungarian-language Eight-Year Secondary School in Nyárasd. At his own request, from September 1, 1955, he was transferred to the Hungarian-language Eight-Year Secondary School in Nemesócsa. He worked at this school until his retirement, where he was the principal of the school from September 1, 1966 for 16 years.
