White Cross

Sacral small monument

In the churchyard stands the crucifix, also known as the White Cross, which was made in the early 1920s. The upper part of the two-step marble cross is placed on a pedestal consisting of three elements. An iron body hangs from the work with the inscription INRI and a narrowed stem. Christ's head, turned slightly to the right, is adorned with a brown crown of thorns, and his body is covered with a blue loincloth. ; The crucifix was erected in 1923 by István Cseri and his wife Antónia Mézes in memory of their son, Cseri Vincze, who fell in World War I.

To the glory of God / he had it erected / ISTVÁN CESERI / and his wife / ANTÓNIA MÉZES / in memory of their only son / VINCZE CESERI / hero / who / sacrificed his precious life / for the country.
