Village Museum
Country house, craft house
The village museum, which was built from the former notary's residence, was inaugurated on October 6, 2003. As part of the local history collection, in addition to ethnographic and costume relics, the building also housed a school museum. The memorial plaque of the martyrs of Arad was placed on the facade of the building in 2004, but the old plaque that decorated the wall of the former village hall, with the coat of arms of Esztergom County, was also placed here. An old fire truck can also be seen at the exhibition. ; In 2002, at the suggestion of Mayor Sándor Asbóth, the local government voted 3,651 euros (109,990.03 Sk) for the establishment of the village museum, from which a roof structure was made to protect the priceless objects from the elements. ; According to the data in the guest book, nearly a thousand interested people visited the village museum last year. Thanks to the diligent work of its leader, Ilona Szegi, the material and written documents of the time, as well as the personal memories of generations, found in one of the oldest settlements in the Danube Valley, which were almost forgotten and in various stages of decay, have become public property.
