Village Museum
Country house, craft house
On the main street of Csalomjai we can see the village museum, which opened in 2009. On the two and a half hectare plot of small farmer Ferenc Pölhös, there once stood a mud house with a thatched roof. In its place was built the stone house of the farmer's two children: József Pölhös and Ilona Pölhös, in which the museum is now located. The tiled-roofed house consists of a room and kitchen area each. The large window on the west side looks out onto the street, while the six-columned south porch looks out onto the courtyard. A small summer kitchen was built in the courtyard, as well as a dug cellar, the arch of which was laid out with bricks.
