Wooden bell tower in Kismácsédon
Building, structure
In the center of the village, next to the kindergarten, the wooden belfry erected at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries (according to some assumptions, earlier) is a protected monument. The square belfry, densely covered with planks, has a simple door opening into the closed lower part. The upper part is in the shape of a truncated pyramid. Beams starting from the corners support the pyramid-shaped roof with a metal cross. Three bells are placed in the bell tower, dedicated to St. Mark from 1798, St. Joseph's bell from 1927 and the Virgin Mary's bell from 1924.
